The charger had issues and I had to check constantly if it was actually charging. I ended up extending my rental and stay. When I reached out, the person I spoke with was super friendly and made everything a breeze.

I headed to southern Kyushu for three weeks and needed a wifi connection. I ordered a pocket wifi through the JTB website and had it sent to my home before I left for my adventure. The whole ordering and delivery experience was smooth as butter. Once I arrived in Japan, I turned on the device and kept it running throughout my journey...even all the way to the southern tip of Kyushu. No dropouts at all! The only hiccup I faced was when I tried to send pictures...it was super slow or sometimes didn’t work at all. But for texting and browsing the web, it was fantastic. I even used it with Google Maps while driving to Cape Sata. Absolutely perfect! Thanks a bunch.

It worked well in Singapore and Vietnam. Just a shame that the router got taken in Ho Chi Minh City a couple of days before we left that place.

The bandwidth was sufficient for checking Google maps and sending texts, but that’s about it. I've had services from other providers that could handle streaming music while we cruised around the country, and honestly, if you wanna stay competitive, you oughta provide something similar.
